2019-2020 Meeting Schedule


Except for December and May, meetings will be held at the Twin Rivers Arts Center, 523 South 2nd St., in downtown Mankato. Coffee and refreshments are served and the business meeting conducted from 9:00-9:30 AM, and the program runs from 9:30-11:00 a.m.

Hailing from Osaka, Japan, Rie Tanaka currently teaches at St. Paul Conservatory of Music, Mount Olivet School of Music, and she performs extensively too. This talented pianist will share injury prevention strategies and mental preparation to control performance anxiety.

Open Forum

Bring your teaching questions to the group for discussion. Topics this year include lesson productivity, studio record keeping, communication with parents and students, and any other topics you share.

Afterwards, feel free to join us for lunch out as a group (if you can) at a local restaurant for some fun and fellowship!
