"Taming Tricky Teens"

Attitudes!  Emotions!  Lack of motivation! Teenagers can be challenging to teach. Come and hear Camille Buddecke, a nationally certified teacher of music with over 35 years of teaching experience, as she shares ways that we can connect with and help our teenage students during this trying time of life.  Camille has served as vice president of piano contests for MMTA and is currently the MMTA honors concert chair.  She teaches almost 40 students a week at her studio in Eagan MN, plays both piano and organ at church, and does presentations for local piano teacher groups.

MVMTA - An Organization to Serve Piano Teachers

MVMTA is a group of piano teachers in the Mankato, Minnesota area who are always trying to improve the quality of our teaching.  We are an informal and friendly group and invite all piano teachers to join us.

Need ways to motivate students to practice?
Have a question on a technique problem?
Need help finding just the right music?
Want more ideas about how to run and organize your lessons or business?  These and many other subjects are presented in our monthly meetings.

You can get lots of ideas from the group, as well as sharing your own ideas.  Whether you are a new teacher or come with 50 years' experience, our group is here for you!
